The food has been very good every time I go there. I almost always get the daily special and ice tea. The have excellent pies as well. Only problem is it gets really busy certain time of the year. If you are in Utopia you have to visit Lost Maples Cafe.
We also had a to-go order that sat in the window for 15 minutes before they gave it to us. We saw them see it too. We were sitting right there. They just ignored it. I think they need some competition.
My wife and I would recommend this restaurant everyone. The atmosphere is great and the food is excellent. The service is also excellent. They have great salads, fish plates, and Mexican food. Their sweet potato fries are better than ones we've tried at restaurants in Austin Texas.
Food was okay. Service wasn't existent. The sweet tea I was given tasted like it had turned. I asked for a different beverage and never got it. We ordered chips and salsa and were given chips, a tiny mason jar of salsa and a spoon. Seeing that the jar was too small to dip chips, we had to scoop salsa on each individual chip. Waitress never refilled the drinks or asked if we needed anything. Had to go to counter to get a to-go box.
Great food! Great service! Amazing coconut meringue pie. So glad we stopped.
Normally service isn't as bad as it was this time. The waitresses were all eating and handling customer food without washing their hands.
